Hull head coach Leonid Slutsky revealed he needs to sign 'six or seven' new players as he bids to guide the club straight back to the Premier League.
Slutsky, the first Russian manager in English football and formally introduced to the media on Wednesday, has yet to make his first signing since replacing Marco Silva nearly four weeks ago.
But the former Russia and CSKA Moscow boss, good friends with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, is confident of signing a player on loan from the Premier League champions early next week.
'We are speaking about some players on loan and maybe we will have information because we need to do it before our trip to Portugal (next Tuesday),' Slutsky said.
