Hull City's dominant victory over Birmingham City was marred by fan clashes as tensions boiled over in the stands of the KCOM Stadium.
The teams met in a Football League Championship match on Saturday afternoon with Hull racing into a 3-0 lead within 26 minutes before scoring three more in the second half to make it 6-0.
It was an embarrassing scoreline for Birmingham fans to absorb and excessive taunting from their counterparts appeared to get the better of some individuals, who attempted to bridge the gap that separated them.
A large police presence was required to maintain order while one man suffered facial injuries as supporters attempted to break the human barrier formed by match stewards.
