Hull City are to assess the fitness of George Honeyman ahead of their clash against Portsmouth.
The midfielder was absent through injury against Blackpool on Tuesday night, and McCann has confirmed that the Tigers will make a call on Honeyman after they receive scan results later today.
“We’ll get some more news on George Honeyman later today,” said McCann. “It’s a little niggling problem he’s had for a while. George is a really honest boy and he doesn’t want to let anyone down but he’s probably played through a couple of games with it and we knew it was unsettling him.
