Honeyman feeling at home

George Honeyman has attributed his impressive form to feeling settled in the local area.

The 26-year-old has been hugely influential for the Tigers this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists in 11 league games.

The Prudhoe-born midfielder is in his second season with Hull City after signing from boyhood club Sunderland in August 2019.

He admits he found it difficult moving away from Wearside but now feels at home in East Yorkshire – and that is showing in his performances.

“I’ve been really happy with how I’ve started the season individually,” said Honeyman.
