Jacob Greaves is determined to repay the faith shown in him after signing a new long-term contract with Hull City.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a new three-year deal last Thursday, which includes a Club option of a further year.
The Cottingham-born defender has made six senior appearances for the Tigers since returning from a productive loan spell at League Two side Cheltenham last season.
The promising youngster shone once again in Hull City’s 2-0 victory over Burton Albion on Saturday - his fourth clean sheet in his last five outings.
