Hull City are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder George Moncur on a two-year deal, with a Club option of a further year.
The 27-year-old, who has spent the last two-and-a-half years with Luton and made almost a century of appearances at Championship level, becomes the Tigers’ first signing of the summer.
Swindon-born Moncur penned his first professional contract with West Ham and had loan spells with AFC Wimbledon, Partick Thistle and Colchester, whom he joined permanently in November 2014.
Scoring 23 goals in 97 matches for the U’s, he completed a £500,000 move to Barnsley and spent the first half of 2016/17 on loan at Peterborough under Tigers boss Grant McCann.
