Callum Elder says Hull City need to find a cutting edge at home to break down deep-lying opponents.
The Tigers fell to a 1-0 defeat against Ipswich Town at the KCOM Stadium, with James Norwood scoring the only goal, and the left-back admitted it was a tough night.
“It just didn’t happen for us,” Elder said.
“It’s too many times we’ve conceded the first goal at home and teams have everything to hold on to.
“They sat back in a lower block and, being brutally honest, we’ve struggled all season to break teams down when we’ve gone 1-0 down.
