First-year scholar Rio Dyer has expressed his delight to represent his country after making his Wales Under-18s debut last month.
The winger came on as a substitute in the 84th minute for Leicester City striker Christopher Popov, as Wales suffered a 2-0 defeat against England Under-18s at the Leckwith International Stadium.
“It was a great experience to represent my country for the first time and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Dyer.
“To be playing up against some of the players that were on the pitch at the time I think just shows the level that I want to get to.
