Greg Docherty wants the Tigers to make the KCOM Stadium a fortress this season as he and his Hull City teammates prepare to welcome their first league opposition to the East Yorkshire tomorrow afternoon.
The midfielder has made an impressive start to life in black and amber, with three eye-catching performances coupled with a confident penalty during the shoot-out against Leeds United in midweek.
“We’ve got some exciting games coming up,” said Docherty. “We have Crewe at home on Saturday and games on our own patch are going to be very important for us. It’s where we can maybe stick a marker down, whilst away from home there will be times where it is more of a grind.
