Andy Dawson says it was a good learning curve for his players despite suffering defeat against Nottingham Forest.
The Tigers were defeated 3-1 at the City Ground, with Josh Hinds scoring off the bench for Hull.
On the game…
“It was a really difficult game. I thought it was a good game in terms of the quality that we were coming up against. I thought some of our players were coming up against quality players like Joe Lolley, which was a great experience for Matty Jacob, as Joe was on the verge of going to the Premier League at the end of last season, so for our players to play against that type of quality and learn and deal with mistakes within the game is what it’s all about.
