Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce urges players to keep nerve and take point required to stay up against Hull

Sam Allardyce has urged his Crystal Palace players to hold their nerve and earn the point required to secure their Premier League survival against Hull City on Sunday - even if it means playing ugly football.

The Eagles sit four points above their opponents at Selhurst Park but enter Sunday high noon showdown following a run of three consecutive losses to Tottenham Hotspur, Burnley and Manchester City.

But Allardyce, who is well versed in eleventh-hour relegation escapes, is confident his injury-affected team will get the job done.
