Hull City Under-18s came from behind twice to pick up a well deserved victory against Crewe Alexandra. A hat-trick from McCauley Snelgrove and a goal from Louis Beckett secured all three points for the Tigers in the U18 Professional Development League.
John Anderson and Matt Hare made six changes to the starting XI that were defeated 2-1 last time against Nottingham Forest. Second year-scholars Jake Leake, Beckett, Snelgrove and Josh Hinds all came into the team respectively, while Jevon Mills also returned to the starting line-up alongside an unnamed trialist.
The Tigers had the first opportunities of the game as Mills saw his headed attempt held by Tom Booth, before Harry Lovick struck a fierce drive over the bar.
