Hull City U18’s suffered defeat in their latest U18 Professional Development League fixture, losing 2-0 away at Coventry City. Goals in each half from Joe Nightingale and Harrison Nee secured all three points for the hosts at The Alan Higgs Centre.
John Anderson and Matt Hare made two changes to the starting eleven that defeated Nottingham Forest 4-2 last time out. Will Jarvis replaced fellow striker Luke Rees, while Harry Fisk started in between the sticks in place of Thomas Macauley.
The hosts created the first chances of the game as Sam Rodber and Nightingale both tested Fisk, before Sam Pitts-Eckersall hit the woodwork following a quick Coventry counter attack.
