Young forward Billy Chadwick has joined National League side FC Halifax Town on a one-month loan.
The 20-year-old goes straight into the squad for the Shaymen’s FA Trophy third-round tie at home to Hartlepool United this afternoon.
Pete Wild’s side are 16th in the fifth tier, four points adrift of the play-off places and eight points above the relegation zone.
Hull-born Chadwick signed a new contract with the Tigers last month that will keep him at the KCOM Stadium until the summer of 2022.
The talented attacker has made five substitute appearances for Hull City this season, converting penalties in shootouts against Leeds United, Stevenage and Crewe Alexandra.
