Reece Burke admitted that the Hull City’s performance against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night was not at its best, but praised the Tigers’ desire to get over the line for the 1-0 win.
The centre-back has been ever-present in the Tigers’ League One matches, helping Grant McCann’s side to six clean sheets in their seven outings.
“I think it was good for us to get a goal before the break,” he said. “For us, I think it will be nice to score more goals to see the game out, but that’s my only criticism.
“We said in the changing room that it wasn’t the best performance, but we won 1-0 at the end of the day.
