Hull City U23’s suffered a 3-0 defeat against Birmingham City in their latest Professional Development League fixture.
An own goal and strikes from Kane Thompson-Sommers and Adan George secured the hosts all three points at the Trillion Trophy Training Centre.
Richard Naylor and Andy Dawson made five changes to the starting eleven that were defeated 2-0 against Wigan Athletic last time out. Ryan Hanson featured following his loan spell at National League side Dover Athletic, while Callum Jones and James Berry made their first starts since retuning from injury respectively.
The Tigers had the first opportunities of the game as Jones and Billy Chadwick both saw attempts blocked, before Hanson’s deflected drive was held by Elias Rouse.
