Hull City have agreed a deal to sign former Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp on a deal until the end of the season, BBC Radio Humberside reports.
The 37-year-old is a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS regular season in October.
Sharp has scored 255 goals in 642 league appearances in his career.
Hull owner Acun Ilicali would not confirm Sharp's arrival in an interview with the station but confirmed the club had completed a signing.
"One signing is already done but unfortunately it is a secret.
