Hull City U18 Joint Manager John Anderson admitted his side lacked quality at vital moments after watching his side lose 1-0 against Wigan Athletic at the weekend.
The Tigers have lost both of their U18 Professional Development League fixtures this season, losing 2-0 away to Sheffield United on the opening day.
On the game…
“I’m disappointed to lose the game. I thought we lacked a little bit of quality in the final third and we were a little bit flat footed in and around the box and we never really reacted and I think because of that, we never scored any goals, but I was pleased with the last twenty-five minutes of the second half.
