Grant McCann spoke of the calm and mature style of his Hull City side’s performance following Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Oxford United at the KCOM Stadium.
Keane Lewis-Potter was the man on target as he bagged a brace to move the Tigers six points clear at the top of the Sky Bet League One table, and Head Coach McCann was again pleased with what he saw from his players as they racked up a fifth successive win.
“It was another good performance from us and another good win for us,” said McCann.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the response that the players have shown since the disappointment we had here against Ipswich – five wins, 12 goals scored and just one conceded – it’s been a mammoth effort from everybody involved but particularly the players.
