Former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney is back practicing with the Houston Texans. Clowney came off the PUP list Monday after undergoing microfracture knee surgery in December.
"I felt pretty good," Clowney told the media. "Just happy to be back out here with my teammates ... It's going to be great when I can get back out there and rush the passer. I'm tired of hitting blocking dummies that don't hit back."
Clowney appeared in only four games last season, recording seven tackles and no sacks.
A timetable has not been set for Clowney's return during the preseason, but he is expected to be ready to play in the season opener.
