NFL Free Agency starts on March 9th, and the next few days will feature several Houston Texans rumors. While free agency doesn't officially start until Wednesday, the league has "legal tampering" days leading up to the start of the new team year, meaning teams can discuss contracts with any player - although a deal can't be signed until Wednesday. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Texans.
Texans "serious contender" to steal Osweiler from Broncos
Quarterback Brock Osweiler will either re-sign with the Denver Broncos or will sign with the Houston Texans, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Denver offered Osweiler a three-year deal worth $45 million, but he wants to see what he can get on the open market, and the Texans are hoping to offer him more than what the Broncos want to.
Houston interested in Lamar Miller
The Texans decided to release star running back Arian Foster earlier this offseason, and they may have already targeted the guy they want to replace him - Lamar Miller. Via the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson:
The Texans have strong interest in Miller as a potential replacement for four-time Pro Bowl runner Arian Foster after cutting him last week, according to NFL sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Miller, 24, is expected to test the market after negotiations with the Dolphins didn't result in a deal. Miller won't be inexpensive. He could cost roughly $6.5 million per year as an unrestricted free agent.
Houston is also expected to go after Chris Ivory and Doug Martin, but Miller is their top target. He ran for 872 yards and eight touchdowns on 194 carries last season.
Travis Benjamin to Houston?
The Cleveland Browns surprisingly let wide receiver Travis Benjamin become a free agent, and Wilson also reports that the Texans are interested in signing him:
One of the fastest wide receivers and return specialists in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns free agent has piqued the Texans and several NFL teams' interest because of his combination of speed and explosiveness, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Benjamin's blend of playmaking skills and acceleration is precisely what the Texans' offense and special teams have been lacking. Benjamin could provide a deep threat to complement Pro-Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and inject their special teams with the ability to score or create shorter fields through better field position.
Benjamin caught 68 passes for 966 yards and five touchdowns last season.
