The Houston Roughnecks have traded for former Texans corner Charles James II, according to his agent, Marty Magid.
James was playing for the St. Louis Battlehawks, who drafted him.

James was a popular figure in the Texans' locker room known for his feisty nature. He had a star turn on the "Hard Knocks" program that focused on his socks and underdog status.
James has also played for the Memphis Express of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football league.
