With Tyrod Taylor hurt, could Deshaun Watson play? 'We'll have to see'

With Tyrod Taylor nursing a hamstring injury, the Texans are in a serious quarterback bind with just a few days to prepare for Thursday night's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Taylor injured his hamstring just before halftime against Cleveland on Sunday, which meant rookie Davis Mills was the only available quarterback on the roster. Deshaun Watson, listed as third-string on the team's official depth chart, is on the roster, but doesn't appear likely to ever play for the Texans again.

However, when Texans coach David Culley was asked after Sunday's 31-21 loss in Cleveland if there was a possibility Watson could play Thursday, he didn't close the door on the option.
