The Houston Texans’ offense suffered a tough blow on Wednesday after losing starting wide receiver Will Fuller to a broken collarbone that will keep him out indefinitely.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news on Twitter along with Sarah Barshop.
Fuller had a pretty good rookie year in 2016 despite some struggles. But the Texans were hoping he would continue to progress and breakout during his sophomore campaign. Now they may have to wait until 2018.
Fuller finished last season with 47 receptions for 635 yards and two touchdowns. Not bad, but also not great.
With Fuller out, that the Texans have to look for Braxton Miller and Jaelan Strong to pick up the slack left behind by Fuller.
