When they practiced for the first time Monday at Houston Methodist Training Center after returning from West Virginia, the Texans were missing six receivers because of injuries.
DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Braxton Miller, Bruce Ellington, Riley McCarron and Devin Street were spectators.
That mean quarterbacks Tom Savage, Deshaun Watson and Brandon Weeden continue to work with a lot of inexperienced receivers.
"We have a talented group in that room," Savage said. "All the guys stepped up and made some plays and did a good job," Savage said.
Savage was asked if inexperienced receivers have an effect on the quarterbacks?
