While there's an abundance of excitement surrounding the Houston Texans' acquisition of Stefon Diggs, there is one troubling statistical trend involving the Pro Bowl receiver.
Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans doesn't seem to be worried.
Ryans spoke to the media this week about a variety of topics, including the team's trade for Diggs. The 30-year-old is coming off his sixth consecutive 1,000-yard season, and his 445 receptions with the Buffalo Bills were the most in the NFL over the last four years. He also saw a notable decline in production throughout last season—after recording at least 100 yards in five of his first six games, the four-time Pro Bowler failed to hit this threshold the rest of the year.
