The Houston Texans boosted their contender status for 2024 by trading for four-time Pro Bowl receiver Stefon Diggs earlier this offseason. Their latest move should be even more impactful to their long-term outlook.
Houston agreed to a three-year contract extension with Nico Collins on Tuesday, according to multiple reports, locking up the team's leading receiver from last season through 2027. Collins, who more than doubled his previous career-highs with 80 catches for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023, was set to enter the final year of his rookie deal.
Paired with Diggs and 2023 breakout rookie Tank Dell, Collins helps the Texans make a strong case for the NFL's top WR trio heading into next season.
