The Texans are allowing teams who have submitted a serious trade proposal for Deshaun Watson to meet with their quarterback to discuss him waiving his no-trade clause. So far, four teams have reached the Texans’ threshold and have flown to Houston for a sit-down with Watson.
The Saints and Panthers met with Watson on Monday. The Panthers’ meeting was a “great” one, according to the Charlotte Observer. The Saints had new head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Mickey Loomis fly to Houston on owner Gayle Benson’s private jet, according to the New Orleans Time-Picayune’s Jeff Duncan.
