Former Westfield High School and University of Houston star Ed Oliver will be the first first-round NFL Draft pick from the Houston area since the Bengals took former Wheatley High School and UH cornerback William Jackson III No. 24 overall and the Seahawks took former Westside offenisve lineman Germain Ifedi at No. 31 in 2016.
