Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had some quality NBA references in his audibe calls caught by the NBC microphones during Sunday night's game against the Chiefs.
There was "Mamba," "Pistol Pete" and "Chris Mullin." The one that the mics caught the loudest though was "James Harden."
On the play where the mic caught the Harden call, the Raiders ran an isolation play for Devontae Booker, who picked up six yards with the line blocking to the left. The play makes perfect sense with Harden being a lefty, who specializes in iso ball. The Raiders ran a similar play on the audible call for Chris Mullin, who had one of the sweetest lefthanded shooting strokes in the league.
