Most Texans fans seem to believe it’d be a good idea for the team to keep Jadeveon Clowney in Houston beyond the expiration of his rookie contract. But keeping Clowney is going to cost some serious coin. Quite possibly “Biggest Contract Ever Given To A Non-Quarterback” kind of coin, though that title will almost surely pass to another player in no more than a year and quite possibly even faster than that (e.g., if the Texans ink Clowney to an extension before the Raiders re-sign Khalil Mack or the Rams re-sign Aaron Donald this offseason).
