'What are we doing!?': Joe Mixon rips NFL for suspension hypocrisy

Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was suspended three games Tuesday after his illegal hit to the head of Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. But the severity of Al-Shaair suspension stemmed from more than Sunday's ugly incident.

Jon Runyan, the NFL's vice president of football operations, issued a statement on Al-Shaair's suspension, noting the linebacker shows "continued disregard for NFL playing rules." Runyan and the NFL's ruling cited Al-Shaair's "multiple offenses for personal fouls and sportsmanship-related rules violations in recent seasons," which included a punch of Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson in Week 2.
