The Houston Texans' selection of Dameon Pierce in the fourth round of this year's NFL draft continues to look like one of their best moves in recent memory, with Sunday providing the latest example why
Pierce broke a seven-game touchdown-less streak with a goal-line run in the first quarter, and would go on to help the Texans take a halftime lead over the Dallas Cowboys. A little bit later in the game, the Florida product delivered another highlight.
With Houston facing a first-and-10 from its 16-yard line, Pierce scampered for 24 yards to spark a 10-play, 63-yard scoring drive.
