After Matt Schaub’s arm fell off in 2013, the Texans tried nearly every avenue to address the quarterback situation. None of them worked. ‘Intelligent’ veterans. Mid-round draft picks. Expensive free agents. Picking out other teams’ backup quarterbacks. Who knew using a top draft pick and trading up into the first round would be the answer for the Texans’ woes?
