Former University of Texas star quarterback Vince Young has flown thousands of miles to relaunch his dormant football career in the Canadian Football League.
Young, 33, says he has rekindled his passion for the game and is signing a standard one-year contract with the Saskatchewan Roughriders with a team option for a second season.
It's been an unusual journey for Young from his days as a blue-chip recruit at Madison High School in Houston, to leading the Longhorns to a dramatic national championship victory over USC in the Rose Bowl and through a star-crossed NFL career as a first-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans where he dealt with bouts of immaturity.
