Vince Wilfork attends For Good celebration, says he wants the Texans in Super Bowl LI

Standing on the steps of City Hall on Monday, veteran nose tackle Vince Wilfork expressed his hope for the Texans to play in the Super Bowl next year in Houston.

During the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl 50 victory Sunday night over the Carolina Panthers, Wilfork and teammates were already texting each other about wanting to be an active part of Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in 2017.

"We're going to have the Super Bowl in this same city next year and it would be awesome if you have your Texans playing in it," Wilfork said at the annual For Good celebration, which included the musical presence of the James Madison High School band along with community awards presented through Neighborhood Centers and Shell Midstream Partners CEO and president John Hollowell.
