Vandermeer's View: Back in the saddle

The Texans came to Indianapolis with the division on the line and left with a hard earned win that reignited their season.

The recipe was to run the ball against a challenged Colts defense and Houston racked up a season high in rushing yards. But it was still extremely difficult for this offense to finish drives. Nick Novak tied a career best with five field goals and the Texans needed every one of them to keep the pressure on Andrew Luck.

The Colts quarterback had just nine completions at intermission, but got it going in the second half, keeping the Colts within striking distance.
