Utah cornerback Brian Allen will work out for the Texans at their local prospect day Saturday, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
The La Marque native is an extremely big corner at 6-3, 215 pounds with long arms, 34 inches with 10 3/8 hands. Allen is regarded as having tremendous upside, according to NFL scouts.
He has visited or worked out for seven teams, including the Texans' workout. Allen grew up as a Texans fan.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds at the NFL scouting combine and had a 6.64 three-cone drill.
