UPDATE: Mark Berman reports the Texans have now also signed fourth-round pick RB Tyler Ervin out of San Jose State.
The Texans have signed two of their six total draft picks today. I guess we can now officially welcome K.J. Dillon and D.J. Reader to the city of Houston.

Dillon and Reader are both expected to be depth and/or special teams contributors as they start their careers, but there is a good chance that they could see the field in a bigger capacity by 2017 as Vince Wilfork’s career winds down and Dillon gets more snaps as a dime safety.
