Frequently targeted by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, Texans cornerback A.J. Bouye held up under pressure.
Bouye recorded nine solo tackles and didn't allow deep throws Saturday night during a 12-10 victory that clinched the AFC South division title. He had three passes defended, tying a career-high.
"I like it," Bouye said of the Bengals going after him. "At the end of the day, I'm undrafted. I don't take it personal. I got to capitalize on it. I can make plays and that can get us off the field."
In a career breakthrough season, the former undrafted free agent from Central Florida has emerged as a respected figure in NFL circles.
