University of Houston defensive tackle Tomme Mark has been invited to the Texans' local prospect day.
Mark is a 6-foot-2, 305-pounder from Lufkin who started every game last season for the Cougars, who defeated Florida State in the Peach Bowl.
Mark played in 49 games in four seasons and played immediately as a true freshman. He had 50 career tackles, a half-sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, an interception and five tackles for losses.
Mark ran the 40-yard dash in 5.16 seconds at the Cougars' Pro Day workout where he did drills for the Arizona Cardinals and other NFL teams.
