Alabama-Birmingham safety Broderick Thomas is scheduled to attend the Texans' local prospect day, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Thomas is from Columbia High School in West Columbia.
He was an all-district and all-state running back and linebacker for the Roughnecks and lettered in basketball four times.

As a junior at UAB, Thomas was All-Conference USA honorable-mention with 95 tackles and two interceptions. He had 68 tackles, two for losses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
