Too soon to label Jadeveon Clowney injury prone, Bill O'Brien says

HOUSTON -- After Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney missed parts of the first half and the entire second half with a back injury, coach Bill O'Brien was asked about Clowney's long-term ability to stay healthy.

The first overall pick from 2014, after all, has now had five injuries in his NFL career, two of them required surgery.

"Look, I think JD has been here for about a year and half. He's had some unlucky injuries," O'Brien said. "There's no question about that. I don't think you can determine a career on a year and a half.
