Just about every time quarterback Tom Savage talks about his role in the offense, he mentions the importance of bonding with his receivers – establishing a rapport on and off the field.
"We're always bonding," he said Wednesday after the last day of minicamp. "We're over at someone's house. We're always hanging out. We've got a good group of guys, and we're all really excited to get training camp going."
Coach Bill O'Brien let the players go a day early. For Savage and the receivers, they won't wait until the start of training camp in West Virginia to get back together.
