Tom Savage is expected to return to action this week after being out with a concussion.
“He’s out of the concussion protocol so he’ll be ready to practice,” head coach Bill O’Brien said Monday. “He should be ready to go tomorrow.”
After suffering a concussion on Jan. 1 at Tennessee, Savage missed practice last week and was inactive for the Texans Wild Card playoff game against Oakland. The third-year quarterback, who started Week 16 and 17 of the regular season, will back up Brock Osweiler as the Texans prepare for their Divisional Round game at New England on Saturday.
