The quarterback, as well as head coach Bill O'Brien, said the Texans need to pick up the pace when it comes to executing plays.
"Get up, get set and be on the offensive on that side," Savage said Wednesday. "We really want to dictate what we want to do, and I agree with him 100 percent. We’ve got to go out there and get on the ball a little quicker and snap the ball and play fast."
The Texans ran 57 offensive plays in the 12-10 victory over Cincinnati, but O'Brien wants to see a change.
"We played too slow against Cincinnati," O'Brien said.
