Tom Savage, DeAndre Hopkins focused on improving communication

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans starting quarterback Tom Savage has made it a point to spend time with star receiver DeAndre Hopkins this offseason in an effort to improve their chemistry and communication on and off the field.

And it's going well, so far. Well, except for one thing.

"What I don't like is how I went to his house last week and he didn't have Blue Moon in his refrigerator," Hopkins said with a smile. "But besides that, we're pretty tight."

Hopkins and last year's $72 million starting quarterback Brock Osweiler never clicked on the field, and the wide receiver's production dramatically dropped, going from 111 catches for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2015 to 78 receptions for 954 yards and four touchdowns.
