HOUSTON -- The teapot wasn't just for Bill O'Brien.
At least that was his version of the story he recalled four days before the Houston Texans were to host the New England Patriots on "Sunday Night Football."
"You want to talk about the teapot, you got to ask Hoyer," O'Brien said. "He caused that; he was the one. ... It wasn’t all me, that’s the thing. They blame that whole thing on me."
Like two mischievous kids, Tom Brady and Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer, then a Patriots backup, thought it would be funny to record every time O'Brien, then their quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator, lost his temper -- say, every time he boiled over like a teapot.
