The Tennessee Titans, Sunday's opponent for the Texans, signed former Texans offensive guard David Quessenberry to the practice squad.
The cancer survivor who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma on June 10, 2014 was released by the Texans during the final roster cutdown.
Quessenberry beat cancer and played in his first regular-season game last season against the Pittsburgh Steelers after undergoing years of treatment at MD Anderson.
A former sixth-round draft pick from San Jose State, Quessenberry was an example of courage and perspective inside the Texans' locker room.
