Tim Kelly, who the Texans fired as offensive coordinator the same day they dumped head coach David Culley, is expected to join the Tennessee Titans staff, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Kelly wouldn't be the Titans offensive coordinator, a position already filled by Todd Downing. However, Downing drew criticism in his first season as offensive coordinator, with the Titans ranking in the middle of the pack in total yards and points. The heat got turned up on Downing when Tennessee scored just 16 points in its playoff loss to the Bengals.
The Titans adding former Texans is nothing new since Mike Vrabel left the Texans to become the head coach in Tennessee.
